![]() You can't get someone else to invest in you unless you're willing to invest in yourself. ![]() I know this, and I want to encourage you. If you're out of a job, it makes every part of your life stink. Your job affects every part of your life. If you're out of a job and broke, then you really do need a good job quickly, right? So here's my answer: Do whatever it is that you have to do to find the money and buy the 30/60/90-Day Plan and implement it in the next interview. We want to look at that plan and help you with it, and if it isn't working for you, and you're not satisfied, we'll give you a refund. Remember: If you try this out, even if you take it to the interview and it doesn't work for you for some crazy reason, let me know. It’s so necessary to get the hiring manager to say, "Yes, we'd like to offer you a job." And the coaching is really going to help you if you're not in sales, because you're not used to this kind of conversation in the interview. My plan is extremely adaptable for different jobs. When you articulate those, and you spend time in your interview talking with the hiring manager about how you'll meet these goals in that job-and you're the only candidate who's done this-they will be blown away. ![]() What hiring manager doesn't want to see you demonstrate what a great addition you’ll be to the team? What hiring manager doesn't want you to make the interview easier and more interesting? And what hiring manager doesn't want to be excited and confident about a new hire?Īnd ask yourself this: do you really want to compete against someone who has listened to me and brought a 30/60/90-day plan? Who prepared, did their research and demonstrated how much they want the job? Who has a higher-level interview conversation because of it? Do you want to go up against that person? I wouldn't.Īll jobs have some kind of training, orientation, tasks, objectives and goals. Management-level job seekers in all kinds of industries, in countries around the world have used my 30-60-90-Day Plan with tremendous success. I developed a job-winning plan template with video coaching so anyone could take my kit and create a plan that would get them hired. When I transitioned into career coaching, I made this interview tool available to the public: my 30/60/90-Day Plan.Īs I used it with my candidates and coaching clients, I fine-tuned it so that I could quickly show anyone how to create a plan and know without a doubt that if they followed my instructions, they’d have a great plan, and a job offer.īecause my career coaching clients were often not in sales, I refined my plan so it could be used to secure job offers outside of sales roles-from entry-level to management roles to the executive level. Why? I insisted that my candidates prepare for their interviews like I did, because I knew how well it worked and how it could practically guarantee that my candidate got the offer.Īs word got around, job seekers who weren’t my candidates started asking about how they could be so successful in their interviews. The last time I was in a job search, I got 5 offers.Īs I moved into executive recruiting, I became known as someone who delivered extremely well-prepared, impressive candidates. I began my career in sales and sales management, and became one of the youngest people to become district manager in company history. I discovered this myself in my own career advancement. If you’ve ever thought that they’re just better at networking, schmoozing, being in the right place at the right time, or just dumb luck, I have great news for you: you absolutely can get that role you want and put yourself on the career path you deserve.
